Who I Am

I’m a nonprofit executive and strategic advisor with more than 18 years of experience helping mission-driven organizations grow through moments of change—growth spurts, leadership transitions, funding shifts, and organizational reset points.

My career has been built inside complex nonprofit environments, not on the sidelines. I’ve scaled organizations from a handful of staff to teams of more than 40, grown budgets from under $400,000 to over $4 million, rebuilt trust after organizational crises, and aligned boards, staff, and funders around a clear, shared path forward. I’ve worked across grassroots organizations, national nonprofits, and international programs, and I know that strategy only works when it is grounded in people, purpose, and execution.

I bring both deep operational experience and a strong academic foundation to my work. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Montana State University and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Walden University. I am also a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), an internationally recognized credential that reflects my commitment to ethical, strategic, and effective fundraising practices.

Throughout my career, I’ve held leadership roles including Program Coordinator at HRDC Head Start, Early Learning Director at the Gallatin Valley YMCA, Development Director at Central Asia Institute, and Executive Director of Befrienders. In each role, my focus has been the same: strengthening systems, developing strong teams, and building sustainable fundraising and operational structures that allow organizations to meet community needs with clarity and confidence.

Today, through my consulting practice, I partner with nonprofit leaders and boards who are ready to move from reactive to intentional. My work is grounded, honest, and execution focused. I don’t bring generic frameworks—I bring clarity, structure, and true partnership so organizations can make decisions with confidence and move forward with purpose.

Outside of my professional work, I’m deeply rooted in my Montana community. I enjoy mentoring emerging nonprofit professionals, serving on local boards, and spending time outdoors with my family across the state.
